Being born and raised in Cebu City, I became devoted to Señor Sto. Niño, the patron saint of Cebu. To show our devotion to Sto Nino, a religious event known as the Sinulog Festival is celebrated Every third Sunday of January. The Sinulog is a dance ritual of pre-Hispanic indigenous origin. The dancer moves two steps forward and one step backward to the rhythmic sound of drums. This movement resembles somewhat the current (sulog) of the river. Thus, the Cebuanos called it Sinulog. Sinulog is a religious festival celebrated in honor of the patron saint, Señor Sto Niño (Lord Holy Child of Cebu). The Fiesta Señor (Festival Lord) converge a procession and take part in a mardi gras parade. Married for almost four years, I have been blessed with one lovely three-year old daughter who is the apple of my eyes. She is the reason I work hard everyday. I try not only to be the best in everything that I do, but also be the best person my daughter can be proud of.

私はセブ市で生まれ育ちました。そして、セブの守護聖人である、Señor Sto. Niñoに興味を持ちました。Sto Ninoに宗教心があるため、毎年第三日曜日に、有名な宗教的行事として知られているSinulog Festivalを行います。Sinulogはプレスペイン系の特有の起源のダンス儀式です。 ダンサーはリズミカルなドラムに合わせて、2ステップ前へ1ステップ後ろへと踊ります。この動きは川の流れ(sulog)に似ています。その為、セブの人たちは、それをSinulogと呼びました。Sinulogは、名誉ある守護聖人を祝わった宗教フェスティバルです。セブの有名なストリートは、行列を一点に集めて、mardi grasパレードでいっぱいになります。私は結婚して、約4年間になります。3歳のすてきな1人娘と共に生活をしています。彼女が、私が毎日一生懸命働く原動力になっています。私は娘に誇れる為に、一所懸命、様々なことにトライしていきます。

My all time favorite TV Programs are Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ally McBeal. Buffy is a a supernatural drama that follows Buffy Summers, the latest in a line of young women known as Slayers. In the story, slayers are chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons, and other forces of darkness. Like previous Slayers, Buffy is aided by a Watcher, who guides, teaches, and trains her. Unlike her predecessors, Buffy surrounds herself with a circle of loyal friends. Ally McBeal on the other hand is about a young lawyer working in the fictional Boston law firm Cage, Fish and Associates with other young lawyers whose lives and loves were eccentric, humorous and dramatic. The show focused on the romantic and personal lives of the main characters, often using legal proceedings as plot devices to contrast or reinforce a character's drama. For example, bitter divorce litigation of a client might provide a backdrop for Ally's decision to break up with a boyfriend. Opposing legal arguments were also frequently used to explore multiple sides of various social issues.Right now however, I am hooked to watching several television series like True Blood, Merlin, House Md., Reaper, and Chuck.

My vision as a teacher is to present information in a variety of ways, with emphasis on the relevance of class material to the world beyond the classroom. I want my students to be enjoy their experience with me and have fun as they learn. So that at the end of the day, they will look forward to their next lesson with me.

If there's one thing I admire about Japan, it's their Garden Art. I have seen a lot of pictures of several Japanese Gardens and i'm hoping that someday if given the chance to visit the country, I can visit the beautiful landscape gardens in Japan. I see the Japanese as polite and respectful people. I guess this could be because of their Ojigi or Bowing custom as a form of greeting. People commonly greet each other by bowing instead of handshaking.
