I practically was born and raised here in Cebu although my parents are both from the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. Cebu I think is the most perfect town to live in the Philippines. It gives you the metro life with not much pollution and traffic compared to Metro Manila, which is the country's capital. Also, good beaches are not hard to find. I am a beach bum so this is quite favorable for me.
My parents are staying in Leyte and its either they come to Cebu to check on me and my two other sisters or we visit there from time to time.
私は、セブで生まれ育ちましたが、私の両親は共にフィリピンのサザンレイテ州出身です。思うにセブはフィリピンで最も住むのに適した町です。セブでは、首都のマニラと違い交通量も公害もそれほどひどくない生活ができます。それに美しい海辺を簡単に見つけることができます。私は浜辺でぶらぶらするので、私にとって非常に好都合です。私の両親はレイテに住んでいますが、時々両親は私や他の二人の姉妹の様子を見に、また逆に私達が両親のもとを訪れたりします。

Japanese students are very pleasant to talk to. They are polite and very eager to learn. So far, I have good experience with my usual students and it is quite enjoying having conversations with them. I have to say, I have made good friends with my students and I am happy about it.
日本の生徒さんは話をしていて気持ちがいいです。とても礼儀正しくしかも学習意欲が非常に高いです。今のところ、常連の生徒さんとよいレッスンをさせていただいていますし、生徒さんと会話をするのはとても楽しいです。むしろ、生徒さんとお友達になり、そのことがとてもうれしいというべきかもしれません。 - Favorite TV program and its contents
I enjoy watching English TV series. On top of my list are How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, Scrubs, American Idol, Gossip Girl, and Lie to Me. All these TV series are very interesting and something that you can really relate to. The first four shows that I have mentioned are more of the light-comedy type of shows that will leave you a very real lesson after every episode. American Idol, on the other hand, is a reality talent show which is interesting because it shows real simple lives of common people with big dreams coming true. Gossip Girl is more of a teen drama that shows the contemporary lives of elite teenagers. Lastly, Lie to Me series is the newest addition to my TV show addiction and it caught my attention because it is about behavioral science at work -something very relevant to my degree which is Psychology. The main characters in the show are lie detectives that try to investigate the real story in a crime just by observing the behavior of the suspects. Needless to say, with my wide choice of TV programs, I'm also quite a couch potato at times.
私は英語のTVシリーズを見るのが好きです。「On top of my list are How I Met Your Mother」、「 The Big Bang Theory,」「Chuck」 「Scrubs」「 American Idol」 「Gossip Girl」、「Lie to Me」などが私のお気に入りの上位です。これらのTVシリーズはとても面白いし、実際に私達に関連した内容です。始めの４つは、軽いコメディータイプの作品で、各エピソードにとても現実味のある教訓を得ることができます。一方で「 American Idol」は、とても面白いスター発掘番組です。なぜならば、普通の生活を送っている人が夢を実現していくからです。「Gossip Girl」は若者向けのドラマで同世代のエリートの生活の話です。最後に、「Lie to Me」は最近はまっているTV番組です。なぜなら、その番組は仕事における行動科学、つまりちょうど私が専攻している心理学に非常に関係あるものだからです。その番組の主要人物は、容疑者の行動を観察するだけで犯罪における真実を推測しようとする詐欺の探偵です。言わずもがな、TV番組の多さから分かるように、私はいつもテレビばかりみています。 - Goals and dreams as an English teacher
