“Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts “, as stated by an anonymous writer. Yes, I belong to a family of 5, with 3 siblings, and I as the middle child. I grew up with a very humble background and learned how to survive with them through sweets and nuts.
Cebu is such a very splendid town where I spent almost three-fourths of my life (a bit of which I spent in Manila). Peaceful and tranquil, is how I would describe my community. Folks town, although exposed to the realities of modernization, still manifest the value of hospitality, respect and even conservatism. As a whole, it is inevitable that people could deal with fecund communication with other nationalities for the fact that most know how to speak good if not best the global language that is English.

- Comments to students
Students cooperate in the same way that the teacher facilitates. For six consecutive years now, I have been teaching English to both high school and elementary students. I was exposed as well to teach ESL to Koreans and Japanese of different ages previously. I believe that learning is a two way process, that is: I share and you will learn in the same way as you share and I will learn. No hard thing will ever abound when learning is fun and reciprocally active. That is what I always expect in teaching.
生徒さんは、先生が助けるのと同じように、協力的です。私は6年の間、高校と小学校で英語を教えてきました。様々な国、年代の子供たちを教えてきました。私が思うに、学ぶということには二種類あると思います。 お互いに、学んだことを生徒と先生が共有することと、楽しく、繰り返し学ぶことです。私は教えるときいつもこういったことに気をつけています。 -
Favorite program and its contents
I am inclined to music especially on playing some instruments. Mellow, classic and pop are what I love. I usually watch TVs for talk shows, news and other entertainment. Surfing the net especially on educative information excites me for my pastimes.

Goals and dreams as an English teacher
I have professionally worked as an English teacher for the academe. My constant goal is to facilitate learning to my students. I will be very proud that through teaching here, my students will develop more their self expression through English as a medium.

About Japanese and Japan
I had friends from Japan and I could tell how calm and loyal they are. Ever true to their words, you would see how they value friendship and respect. One thing that really struck me is that most if not all are very hardworking, goal-oriented, and patient. While the people are these good, the place is as well very fascinating. I usually watch historical shows about Japan and I could tell that the place is definitely clean and scenic. It is but logical to say that this place is booming in technology from intelligent Japanese people and at the same time is keeping their nice culture and identity. Someday soon, I wish I could also view and touch this beautiful land called JAPAN.
