My hometown is in the northern part of Cebu province. I came from a very large family of 7siblings - 2 boys and 5 girls. I am the eldest among the girls, and because of that I was mainly responsible for the household chores and in looking after my younger siblings until I was 13 yrs. old. Since my parents couldn't afford to send us to school,
I came here in Cebu City to find ways and means so that I can continue my studies. Fortunately, I could be able to finish my studies until University with my own expensed being a working student. Now, I am working as a Customer Service Representative connected in Japan embassy here in the Philippines and after office hours as an online English teacher at Eeikaiwa.

I have no formal experience in teaching by profession. But I am very confident with my English communication skills. I am able to speak in English fluently and can able to speak in Nihongo, not yet good, but enough to communicate with Japanese people especially for those who are basic learners in English. Since I am a cheerful and friendly person, when I teach I will make sure that it will be a fun learning experience for both of us. An experience that is enjoyable so that learning English is something to look forward to each day.
私は、正式なプロの指導経験はありません。けれども、英語のコミュニケーションスキルにはとても自信があります。私は、英語はもちろん流暢に話せますし、まだうまくはありませんが、英語を学びたての生徒さんに対しても十分にコミニケーションが取れるくらい日本語も話すことができます。私は明るくフレンドリーな人間なので、教えるときは、いっしょに楽しく学ぶことができると思います。楽しいという体験は次第に英語を学ぶことが待ち遠しくなってくることに繋がると思います。 - Favorite TV program and about its contents:
I am very seldom to watch TV programs nowadays. But if I have enough time I would like to watch CNN news so that I will know what's going on around the world and also I would like to watch NHK channel to improve my listening and pronunciation skills in my target language.
私はめったにTVをみません。しかし、もし時間が十分にあるならば、CNNニュースを見て、世界中で起きていることを知りたいと思うし、日本語の発音とリスニングをNHKを見ながら良くしていきたいと思います。 - Your dreams and ambition and your dreams as an English teacher
My dream is to become an interpreter in English-Japanese someday. Though, my Japanese skills now isn't good enough yet, but I keep on studying it by myself and put it into practice because I believe that learning a foreign language is never a dispute and I think it is the most useful skills a person can acquire.
私の夢は、日本語の通訳になることです。まだ、私の日本語力は十分ではないですが、多言語を学ぶことはいわずもがな必要だし、身に付けておくと非常に役に立つと思い、今でも勉強を続け、練習しています。 - I dream also that all my children will be graduated in the University that they will have good future and have their own family and be able to raise their future kids well as good and God-fearing individuals, and in the process be able to provide the basic needs of their family.

I've been there in Japan for about 2 years as a company trainee. I had a very good experienced and learned a lot of things when I was there. Though I haven't been to the famous tourist spots in Japan like Mt Fuji, Disneyland, Tokyo Tower and so on… but I am very glad that I experienced how the Japanese people treated us well especially our Japanese boss and our co-workers (because we are 5 trainees then). I have a very high regard for the Japanese people and the country Japan. Base on my experienced, I could really attest that the Japanese are well- disciplined people especially on how they value the importance of time. That is why I adapt that attitude here in the Philippines. For me, "Time is gold" also.
私は、企業の訓練生として二年間日本にいたことがあります。そこで非常に良い経験をしたし、多くのことも学びました。富士山や、ディズニーランドや東京タワーといった有名な観光スポットには行ったことはありませんが、日本人の皆さん、特に上司や同僚が、私達によい待遇をしてくれたことが非常にうれしかったです。私は、日本と日本人には非常に敬意をもっています。私の経験に基づいていうと、日本人はよく統率が取れていて、時間をとても大切にしています。というわけで、私にはフィリピンでもこの姿勢は染み付いています。私にとっても、「時は金なり」です。
