5. About hometown and family

I always thought of myself as one of the luckiest individual on earth. Being a member of a happy & loving family makes me feel so blessed and fortunate. This gift always reminds me to never forget to say "thank you" to the person up above. My parents are both into business. The business is settled in Surigao del Sur. This is where we live and where I grew up.
My parents may be busy at times but there wasn’t a single moment when my brother and I felt that our parents were not there for us. In fact at all times they were at our side. They always strive to give us the best. My mother is so caring & loving. She cooks so well. She herself prepares the food for us. My father is so strict. But I very well understand why he needs to impose discipline that way. I am even more thankful how our parents brought us up. Now, my brother and I were able to finish our studies. We were never a headache to our parents.

6. Comments to students

I love to teach. I want to impart my knowledge to other people. I haven’t tried teaching in school but I was once promoted as one of the mentors in one of the call centers here in Cebu. As a mentor, I was given the task to teach and guide the newly hired agents while they’re still on training. I learned that patience and understanding is the key. What makes it fulfilling is when I see the names of my agents posted on the board as one of the achievers. It somehow implies that I was an effective teacher.

7. Favorite TV program and its contents

I don’t have a specific TV program in mind. I am not really fond of watching TV. But whenever I have the chance to, I’d choose Reality shows. It features about just anything and everything under the sun. It talks about life, love, success, failure, religion, new inventions & technologies and so much more.

8. Goals and dreams as an English teacher

I am goal-oriented person. I am ambitious. I am always determined to achieve what I want in life. Right now, one of my goals is to be able to work abroad as a customer service representative or a call center agent and earn a much higher salary. Higher than the salary that I’m earning here in the Philippine call centers.
As an English teacher, I want to be able to meet the expectations of my students. I want them to learn how to write and speak English better. If this objective is met, then I’m positive that they will now have the confidence to converse using the English language wherever they go.

9. About Japanese and Japan

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Japanese people. They are hardworking and very time conscious. I’ve read from an article that every school taught their students what democracy and liberalism are and the Japanese people made their effort to make them their basic ideologies. A friend of mine told me that Japanese people have introverted personalities and they pay serious attention to harmony and cooperativeness in the group. This could be one of the factors that made the country as one of the top countries all over the world.
