5. About hometown and family

I come from a small family. I have only one sister. My father died when I was two years old. I didn’t experience growing up having a father. My mother used to work in a government company. But now she stays at home and takes care of the house.
I got married early, when I was 18. I have a 3 year-old son and now he is actively studying in a Day Care Center. My husband is working in a lighting company. And I would say I’m happily married. I’m presently working at Global Village International Learning Center. I’m working as a Teacher. I Teach Conversational English and Developmental Reading.

6. Comments to students

I teach the same way I write – passionately and with a sense of humor. I believe learning should always be fun. It shouldn’t feel like work. Otherwise, you would lose your interest to learn.

7. Favorite TV program and its contents

Ambush Makeover – I watch this because I enjoy seeing ordinary women being made over. I think all people are born beautiful. Makeup and the right clothes, however, are the icing on the cake. They turn already beautiful women into drop-dead gorgeous ones. Cooking Show - I love to watch cooking show, because I want to become a good cook.

8. Goals and dreams as an English teacher

My dream is to own a company. I want to have a learning center that caters students to learn the English language. After accomplishing all my dreams, I promise to reward myself.
As an English teacher, my dreams are simpler. I just want my students to write and speak in English well, and have fun while doing so. When they become highly fluent in English, my students and I could plot how to conquer half of Asia.

9. About Japanese and Japan

I have high respect for Japan and its people. The Japanese are probably the most polite and disciplined people in the world. I believe this is why they have the most dynamic economies in the world.
On top of being a bookworm, I am a history buff, and I find it fascinating to read James Clavell’s books about Japan. I find it amazing how quickly the Japanese people stood up after the devastations of the past, and with imagination, ambition, and hard work, rebuilt a strong country and an even stronger economy. The Japanese are diligent, graceful, and humble. With citizens like that for people, how could Japan not be a wonderful country?
Someday, I will visit Japan. I will see its famed cherry blossoms. For now, I will settle for talking about cherry blossoms with Japanese students.
