I live in the province in the town of Palompon. I belong to a middle class family with six household members. I’m the second child in the family. I had two sisters and one brother who is next to me. This time, my younger sister who is 12 years old was left schooling amongst us because she is still in grade six while the three of us had able to pursue our career and ambitions in life. My father is a teacher, a college professor in Palompon Institute of Technology. He is sometimes strict but we usually got along. My mother is a business minded that is why we had different products at home from her business. Well, eventually our little business at home had enabled to help our daily needs for the fact that there are times that my father’s compensation wasn’t enough for us. Sometimes, I took over my mother’s little business whenever she is not around. She even used to command almost everything at home and even in taking care of my younger siblings and older sister. My older sister is currently working in BayanTel for almost 3years. She is far from us because she was assigned in Baybay, Leyte. My Only brother is a seaman. He is reviewing right now for his coming board examination in Manila. And me, here in Cebu for almost a month trying to find good opportunity that awaits me here. Glad that I was able to have it now at the center of my palm.

私はパロンポンという町に住んでいます。 6人家族の次女として生まれ、私には2人の姉妹と1人の弟がいます。 私の父はパロンポン工科大学の教授です。父は時々厳しいのですが、いつも一緒にいます。 私の母も働いており、共働きです。 結果的に生活の上では困ったことはないのですが、実際、父親の収入だけでは難しい状況があったのも事実です。 母親は下の2人の面倒を世話を見ないといけなかったので、私は小さいころから母親の仕事を手伝っていました。 私の姉は、ここからは遠いバヤンテルという町で働いています。そして私の弟は船員になりました。目下マニラで国家試験があるので準備を進めている最中です。 一番下の妹は12歳で学校を終えました。他の兄弟のように、彼女も夢を追うことができればと願っております。 そして私ですが、ここセブ島で1ヵ月もの間、このような素晴らしい機会を頂いて、すっと心胸躍っていました。夢が叶ったようで、本当にとてもうれしいです。

I wasn’t been an ESL teacher but I know I have the qualities of being one because I’m a teacher. Aside from that, I had different experiences related or inline with my profession and out from those experiences, had equipped me more knowledge and skills in terms of teaching. Teaching isn’t just based on in terms of strategies but on how you understand it, love it, and live it. I just hope that my students are cooperative enough.

私はESLの先生ではないのですが、何が先生の質に関わるのかはしっかりと自覚しています。 これまでの異なった様々な経験を関連させて、多くの知識と技能を活かしたいです。教えることは戦略などによるものではないですが、どれだけ教えることが好きなのか等が基礎にあると思います。生徒の方と一緒に楽しんでいければと願ってます。 。

I really don’t have any specific favorite TV programs as long as it entertains me and able to enhance my knowledge or skills in any aspect because learning what you’ve been viewing is what matters most.

好きなテレビ番組ですが、自分の知識か技能を高めるという点では、ほとんどといっていいほど好きな番組はありません。 学ぶことは、つまり何を見るのかが最も重要なことだと思うからです。

My goal is to share whatever knowledge I had to my students. For me, seeing them learning is a success on my part and knowing that they learn nothing is a great failure to me. Of course, the main focused here is the English language so that they would be competent enough in this fast changing world as well as in dealing with people of different race. Thus, enhancing on their vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking skills are the focus for them to communicate effectively. Through this, English would be fun and easy for them.

私の目標は、私の知識すべてを生徒の方と共有することです。私にとって、学んでいる姿を見ることは、私の中での成功であり、何も学べないということは私にとって大きな失敗です。英語は人種を超えて世界を変えるツールです。ボキャブラリーや発音といったスピーキングスキルは、コミュニケーションの要ですので、楽しく勉強できるはずです。

I like seeing Japanese men or woman wearing their costumes and I also find them funny whenever they talk especially in English because it seems they couldn’t able to pronounce the words well. But like any other races there are lots of good things about them and their country. One of the most that I appreciated about them is being one of the world’s most progressive countries as they are referred as the world's third largest economy. We know that they where once far away from the top but now they are far ahead of our country Philippines and of the others. See how great and very determined they are in order to achieve their goals.

日本のファッションが好きです。
英語は上手にその単語を発音できていない気がします。日本には、他の民族と同じように、素敵なものがあります。 一つは世界第三位の経済大国としても、最も進歩的な国の1つです。私たちは日本がかつて世界のトップからはかけ離れたところにいて、今のフィリピンからもかけ離れた今の発展を成したことを知っています。私はそれがどれだけ素晴らしいことを成し遂げたのか、理解しています。
