I have only lived in one place since the day I was born. Known as the City of Gentle People, Dumaguete City is situated in Negros Island, belonging to the Central Visayas Region. Dumaguete got its name from the Visayan word daguit which means to snatch. It has been said that in the olden days, pirates came by the island to take away the pretty native maidens. People here are friendly and hospitable who value their simple and laidback lifestyles including myself. I belong to a middle class family. My father is a government employee while my mother is a stay-home mom. I have three siblings, a brother and a sister. I am the youngest. There is nothing much to describe my family, just God fearing, loving, and prayerful. I am very close to my siblings. At present I do not often see them since they have been married and lived in another region.

私は生まれてから、ずっと同じ場所で育ってきました。 優しい人がいることで知られているドゥマゲテ市です。ドゥマゲテという言葉はdaguitというひったくることを意味するビザヤン語から来ています。 昔、海賊が先住民の少女をさらいに島に立ち寄ったと言われています。 ここの人々は、好意的で温かいです。私は中産階級家族のものです。 私の母は主婦で、私の父は公務員です。 私には、3人の兄弟、および姉妹がいます。 その中で、私は末っ子です。 私の家族は、信心深く、情愛深い以上の何ものでもありません。 私は兄弟と、とても仲が良いです。現在、彼らは結婚し、別の場所に住んでいる為、あまり会えません。

I do not expect for students to learn fast, nor do I want to give an impression that I am a perfect teacher. Every student is unique. With determination, hard work and team work I am assured that teaching English could be very effective.

私は、生徒がすぐに学べるとは思いません。そして、私が完全な教師であるという印象を与えたくはありません。 すべての学生がユニークです。 決断力、一生懸命さ、チームワークで、私は、英語を教えるのが非常に効果的であるかもしれないと確信しています。

This seems funny but true. I have been watching a kids’ program every Sunday afternoon. It’s one of my favorites. It is actually a gag show of kids. I find it very entertaining. Oh yeah, i love kids too. i just could not resist the energy and charm.

Teaching is truly a noble profession. It is also a very time consuming one, requiring a commitment on your part. Teaching can be very demanding but can also be extremely rewarding. My goal as a teacher is definitely to be very effective to my students, to impart to every learner not just a lesson they will learn by mind but by heart as well.

I have known in grade school that Japan is a country belonging to Asia continent which is common to my nation. Growing up, i have learned that Japan is one of the leading electronic providers in the world. Japan indeed is a very prosperous country. Yet, I have a lot to discover for myself. I’m very excited to meet and interact with Japanese people.

私は、小学校の時には、もう既に、日本が、私の国と共通のアジア大陸に属す国であることを知っていました。そして成長し、私は、日本が世界の主な電子プロバイダーの1つであることを学びました。本当に、日本は非常に繁栄している国です。私には、自分で発見するいろいろな事があります。 私は、日本人の人々に会って、話せる事を、非常に楽しみにしています。
