You can call me JP for short. I came from a middle class family who resides in the heart of Cebu. Although we experienced financial constraints, my mother was still able to send us to a prestigious school. We didn’t really grow up with our father around since my parents got separated. He just visits. With our mom around, with the help of my two brothers who graduated way ahead of me, and with our love and support for each other, we succeeded our goal  to finish college, and to become educated individuals. I totally salute our mother when it comes to taking care of us. I am the youngest in the family and with me are two tough brothers. Our eldest brother is in New Zealand now, together with his wife and their newly born baby girl. In the other hand, my brother next to me is now in Cavite together with his wife and their two kids, but he goes to Malaysia from time to time in relation to his work. He and his family will be relocating there soon. Both of them are successful Engineers. Right now, I am working so hard to give them the impression that I can also stand for my own. Not always depending on them for my needs is what makes them proud of me since we did not just finish college to be lazy and not work for our future. Soon I will also have a family of my own, and have kids, hopefully, and teach my kids all the good in this world.

私のことは「JP《と呼んでいただいて構いません。私の家族はごくセブ島でごく一般的な家族です。財政的な問題を抱えてはいましたが、私の母は私たちを一流の学校に進学させてくれました。私たちは両親が離婚して以来、父とは離れて暮らしてきました。私たちはお互いに支えあい、大学も卒業することができました。私は母を尊敬してやみません。私は末っ子で、タフな兄弟が二人います。一番上は今ニュージーランドにいます。奥さんと女の子の子供と幸せに暮らしています。次男はカビテ州で奥さんと二人の子供と暮らしています。ただ、彼の仕事の関係で近々マレーシアへ引っ越さないといけなくなりました。　私の兄弟はエンジニアとして成功しました。私も頑張って大学を卒業したのですから、兄に見習って頑張らないといけないと思ってます。私もじきに家族をもつことだと思います。子供ができたら、世界の素敵なものをたくさん教えたいと思ってます。

For years, I have worked in different major and minor events and activities. The experience gave me insights on how to deliver lessons effectively to the different people I meet, and students as well. I learned different teaching strategies and I was able to enhance further my interpersonal and communications skills. With my previous work experience, I have always valued the essence of learning while having fun. Being a teacher, it has always been important for me to help students get motivated in learning. This will make them interested with lessons they need know. It is always easy to learn things if we get curious and love the topic.

私は長い間、異なった物事をたくさん経験してきました。それらの経験は、物事の見方を柔軟にさせ、人々へ対する接し方やレッスンの仕方などに役立っています。私はいつも学ぶことの本質の重要性を感じてます。先生である以上、生徒となる方の、学ぶことに対する意欲 を支えることが重要です。これは「知るを必要とすることを学ぶ《ということにも興味をもたせてくれる事でしょう。興味を持って好きになれば、簡単に学べます。

I can say that my life has been music-driven. From different moods to different styles of life, I have been appreciative of music. I found my channel on MTV most of the time, not just because of the music, but with the different VJs who talks during different shows. It kind of motivated me to speak more of my mind, not just to talk whatever is to be talked about without even thinking. It has to have meaning and flesh to the show, getting the listeners interested and watching.

私の生活は音楽と共にあるといっていいでしょう。どんなジャンルでも私は音楽を愛しています。私はMTVが大好きです。それは音楽だけではなく、番組の間に流れるVJが好きだからです。もっとこのことについてお話できますが、こういったショーはリスナーを虜にします。

It’s my goal as an English teacher to have my students learn from what I teach. I want them to absorb and learn the English language in an easy and fun in a way that they will want to learn more, and realize that learning the language is not that really hard after all. Learning speaking and listening skills is important for them to communicate effectively. And as a former contact center agent who speaks the language well, I will be more eager and be pleasured to teach them what is the language about. With this, it will greatly help them become a better English speaker, too.

私が教えたことを学んだ生徒ができるという事が私のゴールです。英語をもっと学びたくなるように、生徒の方が授業に没頭できるようなレッスンを行いたいです。そして英語を学ぶことは、実はそう難しくはなかった という事に気づいて欲しいです。またコミュニケーションを効果的に図るという意味で、スピーキングやリスニングのスキルは重要です。生徒の方々が、より良い英語をマスターできるように、私は今以上に熱意とよろこびをもって努力します。

I have relatives who have Japanese background either because they work in Japan, work in a Japanese company / environment, or have Japanese spouse. I have appreciated their culture and thus, have adopted some of their traits. One of that is respect, that I greatly honor, especially to the ones I work with, my family, and my close friends. I also like to watch anime shows like Naruto and Bleach, where I sometimes learn from it and imitate their actions and how they speak their language.

私には、日本で働いていた親戚がいます。　私は日本の文化に興味を持っているので影響を受けています。一つは日本の人々が敬意を払うことです。特に家族や友達に対してです。これは本当に素晴らしいことだと思います。また、私はアニメも見ます。ナルトやブリーチで、それを通じて日本語を真似ていたりします。
