I believe that the kind of family I have is one of the few things that I can brag about. I belong to a middle class family who resides in the heart of Cebu City. Though we sometimes experience financial constraints, my parents are able to send to a prestigious school. We help each other to achieve our common goal, which is to become EDUCATED individuals.

My dad, a former Overseas Worker, worked in plantations offshore for almost 12 years. At the age of 52, he retired from being one and is now staying at home for good. My mom is a plain housewife. I totally salute her when it comes to taking care of us. I am the only daughter in the family and with me are two tough brothers. My elder brother is also a nurse. Currently, we are working on his hospital exposures and possible employment abroad. My younger brother is now in a College freshman. He is an aspiring seaman. As a form of thanksgiving and appreciation to my parents, I am the one who is sending my younger brother to school. I am working so hard to give him the things that he desires and needs.

私は、家族が一番、嘘をついても何をしても大丈夫なものだと思っています。私はセブ市の中心に住んでいる中産階級家族です。私たちは時々財政的な規制を経験しますが、私の両親は名門校に発信できます。 私たちは、お互いが私たちの一般的な目標を達成するのを助けます。(目標は個人の自由な教育です)。 私のお父さん(以前、海外で働いていました)はおよそ12年間沖合の農園で働いていました。 52歳に、引退して、現在は、家にいます。 私のお母さんは明瞭な主婦です。私たちの世話をすることとなると、私は彼女をとても尊敬します。 私は家族で一人娘です。そして、私と共に、2人のタフな兄弟がいます。また、私の兄は看護師です。 現在、私たちは、海外で彼の病院への派遣可能な雇用に取り組んでいます。私の弟は現在、大学1年生です。彼は野心的な船員です。 私は両親に対する感謝の形として、弟を学校に送ります。私は、彼が望んでいて、必要とすることを与えるため、一生懸命働いています。

For five months, I worked as an online English Communication Specialist for Korean students. The experience gave me insights on how to deliver lessons effectively to the students of different levels. I learned different teaching strategies and I was able to enhance further my interpersonal and communications skills.

Based on my previous experience, I can now value the essence of ‘’learning while having fun’’. For a teacher like me, it is indeed important to help students generate a drive in learning. This stimulus will make them interested with the things that they need to be knowledgeable about. It is a fact that a person will absorb different concepts faster if he loves the things that he ought to learn.

I am a type of person who is so interested to perceive things that I can hardly understand and relate. I find it as a challenge and a means to widen my knowledge. With this, I love to decipher the Cheater reality show. I don’t know the feeling of being cheated and being a cheater, thus the show gives me thoughts on different obstacles that you may encounter in a relationship. Since it is reality-based, you can really witness different confrontation scenes as if you were there.

私は何かに関係したり、理解する事に大変興味があります。私は挑戦と知識を広めるための手段としてそれを見つけます。この事から、私は、偽実録番組を見るのが好きです。私はだまされている感じが分かりません。その結果、シ番組は、異なった障害に関する考えを私に与えます。それが現実ベースであるので、まるで本当に、そこにいるかのように異なった対立場面を目撃できます。

My primary goal as an English teacher is not for me but for my students. I want them to learn the English language in an easy and fun way. It would be an achievement for me if they will realize that learning English is not that hard after all. I will work on enhancing their vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking skills for them to communicate effectively. With this, I know that they will become the best English speaker that they want to be.

If I remembered it right, I played the role of a Japanese woman during a high school play. That experience introduced me to the Japanese language. I was asked to memorize Japanese lines throughout the play rehearsals and I must say that the language is indeed difficult to learn. I noticed though that the entirety of it is very pleasant to hear. There were few lines that I committed to my memory: ‘’ogenki de suka?’’ would mean ‘’ How are you?’’; ‘’Watashiwa genki desu’’ would mean “I am fine’’. It was a cool and memorable experience. I also like to watch shows that feature different countries and lifestyles of their countrymen. With it, I learned that Japan is an economically progressive country and the people are generally strong and determined.

私は、高校時代に、日本人の女性を演じました。その経験でを私に日本人を知りました。私がプレリハーサルの間、日本の台詞を暗記するように頼まれて、私は、本当に、言語は難しいと感じました。もっとも、私は、それ全体を聞く事が非常に快いという事に気付きました。私の記憶には、わずかしかありませんが:「ogenki de suka?」は、「お元気ですか?」と意味するでしょう。「Watashiwa genki desu」は、「私は元気です」と意味するでしょう。それはクールで忘れられない経験でした。また、私は、時間が、彼らの異なったライフスタイルを特徴としているのを示しているのが好きです。私は、日本が経済的に進歩的な国であることを学んで、また、一般に、強くて、決断力があると思っています。
